Dr. Michael G Fine, DPM

Welcome to the podiatry office of Dr Michael G. Fine. It is Dr. Fine's office mission is to provide the highest quality of podiatric medical, biomechanical and surgical care of the foot in a professional setting. Patients will be treated by a competent, well-trained podiatrist with years of experience. Regardless of race, age, color or creed patients are always treated with courtesy, dignity and respect. Many of Dr. Fine's patients have maintained a long term relationship for 25 plus years, and many are referred by friends, family, relatives, co-workers, primary care physicians or hospital referral services. This is a true testimony that his patients are as devoted to him as he is equally devoted to them.

Dr. Fine, a native of Baltimore, earned Bachelor of Arts from the University of Maryland, College Park, in 1973. He attended Podiatric Medical School in Chicago, Illinois, from 1973 to 1977 where Dr. Fine earned a Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degrees from Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine. He was selected by Dr. Herbert Rothfeld, President of the American Podiatric Medical Association, to be the first podiatric surgical resident at Clinton Community Hospital in southern Prince Georges County.

Dr. Fine has maintained his private practice for the past 31 years in a remodeled Colonial-style singel family home. He is an active member of Virginia Hospital Center's Department of Orthotics Affiliated Podiatric medical staff and was honored in 2007 to be selected as a podiatric medical consultant for the highly acclaimed Would Care Center in Virginia Hospital Center. On April 5, 2009, Dr. Fine achieved Board Certification in Wound Care from the American Professional Wound Care Association. He is also a Fellow on Council on Medical Education Testing and a diplomat of the National Board of Podiatry Examiners.
